The ARTE 3820 class is Art Methods for Inclusive Learners, the student teachers in this class work with Glendale-Feilbach Elementary school to create art lessons. The grades that the student teachers work with range from kindergarten to eighth grade. As they develop these lessons, they work with ideas based on the students' interests and the materials available to them. The lessons include a wide range of topics, from paper animals to monster collages. In place of working face to face with the students, we are able to send out videos and handouts for the art lessons. These videos include a range of setups, some of the students use the recording studio available, some chose to record from home. Though all of them provide some form of art demonstration for the students to follow along and hopefully learn something new.
